Basketball Game Preview: West Middlesex Big Reds vs. Reynolds Raiders

West Middlesex is on a five-game streak of home losses, Reynolds a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Monday. The West Middlesex Big Reds will host the Reynolds Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

West Middlesex is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Wilmington on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. West Middlesex had to suffer through a 61-28 loss at the hands of Wilmington. The Big Reds were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-11.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 55-20, which was the final score in Reynolds' tilt against Lakeview on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 595th, while the Sailors are ranked 201st).

Reynolds' defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for West Middlesex, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
