Soccer Game Preview: Temecula Valley vs. Murrieta Valley

The Temecula Valley Golden Bears will challenge the Murrieta Valley Nighthawks at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Temecula Valley is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten goals on Friday, they were much more limited against Great Oak on Monday. They fell 2-0 to the Wolfpack.

Meanwhile, Murrieta Valley had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.4 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. They never let the Pumas onto the board and left with a 6-0 win. Considering the Nighthawks have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Murrieta Valley is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those eight games. As for Temecula Valley, they now have a losing record at 8-9-1.
