Softball Game Preview: Timberland T-Wolves vs. Washington Bluejays

The Timberland T-Wolves will head out to square off against the Washington Bluejays at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Timberland is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Timberland had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Fort Zumwalt South on Tuesday. The T-Wolves were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Bulldogs.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Wednesday as neither Washington nor St. Francis Borgia made it on the board until the seventh inning. The Bluejays fell just short of the Knights by a score of 4-3.

Timberland's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Washington, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3.

Timberland came up short against Washington in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 6-3. Can the T-Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
