After losing to Callaway the last time they met, Sandy Creek decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Sandy Creek Patriots narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Callaway Cavaliers 3-2.

Donovan Lipson and Miles Kent scored all three of Sandy Creek's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Sandy Creek now has a winning record of 1-0. As for Callaway, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sandy Creek will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Konos Academy at 8:00 p.m. on February 25th. As for Callaway, they will take on Mary Persons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
