Baseball Game Preview: Reavis Rams vs. Bloom Blazing Trojan

Reavis is a perfect 3-0 against Bloom since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Reavis will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Bloom at 4:30 p.m. Bloom took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Reavis, who comes in off a win.

Reavis is returning home triumphant after the team finally put their road woes behind them against Berwyn/Cicero Morton on Saturday. Reavis blew past Berwyn/Cicero Morton 12-6. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Rams' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Will Swierczynski looked comfortable as he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Tino Villagomez, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-4. Another player making a difference was Robert Soto, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Bloom came up short against Beecher on Saturday and fell 7-3.

Reavis' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Bloom, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
