While West Chicago's victory against Larkin wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats skirted past the Royals 4-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

West Chicago's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Bell, who went 3-for-5 with one double. That's the most hits Bell has posted since back in May of 2025.

West Chicago's victory bumped their record up to 10-15-1. As for Larkin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

West Chicago will host Elgin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Larkin, they will venture away from home to take on Schaumburg at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
