Basketball Recap: Paso Robles Comes Up Short

Paso Robles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 48-36 to the Lompoc Braves. The Bearcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Braves earlier this season, when they won 44-31.

Lompoc's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Isabelle Morales led the charge by putting up nine points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Halee Sager, who posted nine points.

Paso Robles' defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Lompoc, they pushed their record up to 11-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Paso Robles will host Templeton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lompoc, they will venture away from home to challenge Cabrillo at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cabrillo will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lompoc surely won't give up without a fight.
