Basketball Game Preview: Alliance Christian Gryphons vs. Conestoga Christian Cougars

The Alliance Christian Gryphons will head out to challenge the Conestoga Christian Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alliance Christian hasn't scored more than 15 points for four games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Last Tuesday, Alliance Christian ended up a good deal behind Coventry Christian and lost 31-15.

Meanwhile, Conestoga Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against Linville Hill, falling 55-14. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 424th, while the Warriors are ranked 46th).

Conestoga Christian's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7. As for Alliance Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Alliance Christian was dealt a bruising 51-2 loss at the hands of Conestoga Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Alliance Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
