Glynn Academy had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Brantley County Herons. This was payback for the Terrors, who suffered a 6-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Glynn Academy's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Brantley County, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glynn Academy will challenge Statesboro at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brantley County, they will square off against Bacon County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Herons 4.1, the Raiders 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
