Soccer Recap: Jesse M. Bethel Comes Up Short

Jesse M. Bethel managed to keep up with De Anza until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Jaguars might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Dons an easy 6-1 victory. Jesse M. Bethel's loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Isabella Escobar, which was the first she's scored this season.

Jesse M. Bethel's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for De Anza, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Jesse M. Bethel will take on Rodriguez in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for De Anza, they will be home for the holidays to greet Saint Mary's at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Saint Mary's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
