In what's become a running theme this season, La Jolla Country Day gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They blew past Calvin Christian 9-0. The result kept La Jolla Country Day happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 8, 2023.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Del Lago Academy was not quite Escondido Charter's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the White Tigers. Del Lago Academy has struggled against Escondido Charter recently, as their match on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
La Jolla Country Day is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-1-4 record this season. As for Del Lago Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12-1.
La Jolla Country Day took their win against Del Lago Academy in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 8-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for La Jolla Country Day since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
