Soccer Game Preview: Parkview vs. Decatur

The Parkview Panthers will face off against the Decatur Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Parkview's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Buford.

Meanwhile, Decatur had just enough and edged out Dunwoody 1-0 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs wouldn't have won without Kimball Bryant, who scored the game-winner.

The victory made it two in a row for Decatur and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two matches. As for Parkview, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Parkview beat Decatur 4-2 in their previous matchup back in February of 2022. Will Parkview repeat their success, or does Decatur have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
