Soccer Recap: Polytechnic Comes Up Short

After flying high against St. Mary's Academy on Thursday, Polytechnic came back down to earth. The Polytechnic Panthers came up short against the Flintridge Prep Wolves on Friday, falling 4-1. The loss was the Panthers' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Polytechnic fell to 3-1-1. As for Flintridge Prep, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Polytechnic will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Paraclete at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Flintridge Prep, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Redlands East Valley on the 14th.
