Jacoby Newman, Northeastern's leading receiver, solidified his role on Friday. Newman turned in his biggest game of the season, picking up 277 receiving yards and five touchdowns. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.4 receiving touchdowns per game.

Looking ahead, Newman and Northeastern will head out on the road to face off against West Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Newman will face off against Jackson Beatty, the Roughriders' star wideout.
