Softball Recap: Westview's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Westview had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Bellevue West Thunderbirds by a score of 8-4 on Saturday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 10-0 victory back in August.

Elke Martin was excellent, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted over her last 11 games. Another player making a difference was Londynn Danner, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Westview kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive matches.

Westview's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Bellevue West, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.
