The Cartersville Hurricanes will face off against the Cass Colonels at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Cartersville came up short against Allatoona on Tuesday, falling 7-1. The loss continues a trend for the Hurricanes in their meetings with the Buccaneers: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Cass kept a clean sheet against Southeast Whitfield County on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Raiders 1-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Colonels.

The win got Cass back to even at 3-3. As for Cartersville, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
