Soccer Recap: Mainland Takes a Loss

Mainland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Seminole Seminoles, falling 7-0. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Buccaneers struggled afterwards.

Mainland's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Seminole, the victory got them back to even at 6-6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mainland will head out to face off against St. Augustine at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Augustine's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Seminole, they are taking a road trip to take on New Smyrna Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. New Smyrna Beach will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Seminole surely won't give up without a fight.
