Desert Christian lost to Cholla back in September of 2018, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Eagles came out on top against the Chargers by a score of 2-0.

Alexa Yarger paced Desert Christian's offense, picking up five kills. Yarger got some help from Abby Numer and her six assists. Yarger was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Desert Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Cholla, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Desert Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Flowing Wells on the 10th. As for Cholla, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Rio Rico on the 13th.
