Soccer Recap: Calexico Takes a Loss

On Wednesday, the Calexico Bulldogs came up short against the University City Centurions and fell 3-1. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Calexico's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for University City, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-7.

Calexico will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hilltop at 6:00 p.m. on March 7th. As for University City, they will take on Escondido Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Escondido Charter is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.
