Softball Game Preview: Landmark Christian War Eagles vs. Mt. Zion Eagles

Landmark Christian hasn't had much luck against Mt. Zion recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The War Eagles will face off against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Landmark Christian turned things around against Eagle's Landing Christian Academy last Monday. They and the Chargers finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Mt. Zion never let their opponents score on Monday. Everything went their way against Pepperell as they made off with a 9-0 win. Considering the Eagles have won 13 contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Mt. Zion's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. Landmark Christian's tie gives them a new season record of 2-16-1.

Landmark Christian might still be hurting after the 18-0 loss they got from Mt. Zion when the teams last played back in September. Can the War Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
