Softball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 11-0 to South Winneshiek. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against South Winneshiek this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 on Monday.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-18. As for South Winneshiek, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-13.

Looking ahead, Central will face off against Postville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Winneshiek, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 9-1 victory against Riceville on the 24th.
