Dana Hills is headed into Saturday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They lost 51-26 to Marina. While losing is never fun, the Dolphins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 573rd, while the Vikings are ranked 124th).

Meanwhile, Trabuco Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against El Toro, falling 61-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mustangs have suffered against the Chargers since April 27, 2021.

Dana Hills' loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Trabuco Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-3.

Dana Hills took their victory against Trabuco Hills in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 44-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dana Hills since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
