Soccer Recap: Leigh Takes a Loss

Leigh lost against St. Ignatius College Preparatory back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Longhorns fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1.

Leigh's goal came courtesy of Kaya Schaefer, which was the first she's scored this season.

Leigh's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for St. Ignatius College Preparatory, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leigh will take on Los Altos at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Ignatius College Preparatory, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Archbishop Riordan at 2:45 p.m. on January 7, 2026.
