Soccer Recap: Piedmont Academy Takes a Loss

Piedmont Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the John Milledge Academy Trojans, falling 8-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against John Milledge Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 back in March.

Piedmont Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10-1. As for John Milledge Academy, they moved to 3-10-2 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Piedmont Academy has already played their next match, a 7-0 loss against Mount de Sales Academy on the 22nd. As for John Milledge Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Tattnall Square Academy at 7:30 p.m. on the 28th.
