Volleyball Recap: Oak Lawn Find Success

Oak Lawn won the last time they faced Hancock and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Spartans came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0.

Oak Lawn not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Hancock between 17 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17.

Maryam Hussein paced Oak Lawn's offense, picking up seven kills. Hussein got some help from Kasey Thompson and her eight assists. Thompson also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Izabella Gruszka, racking up three apiece.
