Football Recap: Golden Plains Comes Up Short

After flying high against Moscow last Friday, Golden Plains came back down to earth. Golden Plains had to suffer through a 52-0 loss at the hands of Ingalls. Golden Plains has struggled against Ingalls recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Keegan Nothern had an outrageously good game for Ingalls as he rushed for 163 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. Those four rushing touchdowns gave Nothern a new career-high. Logan Simon got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Golden Plains' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Ingalls, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Golden Plains will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Wheatland-Grinnell on Friday. As for Ingalls, they will head out on the road to take on Cheylin on Friday.
