Bluefield lost to Woodrow Wilson back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Beavers secured a 34-28 W over the Flying Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Beavers.

Bluefield's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Woodrow Wilson, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bluefield will face off against Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Beavers will need to watch out since the Patriots have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Woodrow Wilson, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Preston at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
