Soccer Recap: Whitney Takes a Loss

Whitney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 5-1 to the Rocklin Thunder. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Aubrey Parsons, who's now up to two this season.

Whitney's loss dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for Rocklin, they pushed their record up to 7-0-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Whitney will be playing in front of their home fans against Del Oro at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Del Oro will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Whitney surely won't give up without a fight. Rocklin has already played their next match (against St. Francis), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
