Softball Recap: Perry Find Success

Perry came out on top against Haskell on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Maroons never let the Haymakers get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Maroons, who have now won three matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Perry's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Haskell, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Perry will head out on the road to challenge Plainview at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Maroons' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Haskell, they will venture away from home to square off against Fairland at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday.
