Softball Recap: Durant Beats Alburnett for Their Third Straight Victory

Durant won the last time they faced Alburnett and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wildcats walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Pirates. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Durant's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-12. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Alburnett, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 27-12 record this season.

Durant will challenge Lisbon on Monday. The Lions will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. Alburnett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
