Baseball Recap: Chapel Hill Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Chapel Hill can now relate to. They came up short against the Buford Wolves on Wednesday, falling 9-0. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Chapel Hill's loss dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Buford, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 24-7.

While Chapel Hill had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
