Baseball Recap: Stone Mountain Falls to Towers in First Game of Season

Stone Mountain unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Towers Titans on Tuesday, falling 19-0. If the Pirates were looking for revenge after losing 8-0 to the Titans when the teams met back in March of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Towers' win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stone Mountain will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Columbia at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Towers, they will challenge Lithonia at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
