While Lake's victory against Eastwood wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Flyers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Eagles on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Flyers.

Lake's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Eastwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-13-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake will face off against Whitmer at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The last five games the Panthers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Eastwood, they will take on Spencerville in a tournament on Saturday.
