Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Pleasant Grove walked away with it. They had just enough and edged the Davis Sr. Blue Devils out 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Adalynn Alley and Emma Buettner scored both of Pleasant Grove's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Pleasant Grove's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those five games. As for Davis Sr., this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

Looking ahead, Pleasant Grove will face off against St. Francis at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Francis will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Pleasant Grove surely won't give up without a fight. Davis Sr. does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
