Chouteau-Mazie entered their tilt with Locust Grove on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Pirates. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Pirates back in August, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

The team relied heavily on Shaelea Willerton, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Peyton Blake, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.

Chouteau-Mazie always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .524. They are a perfect 16-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Chouteau-Mazie's win bumped their record up to 23-8. As for Locust Grove, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-11.
