Softball Recap: North Springs Spartans vs. Riverwood Raiders
North Springs extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Monday, dropping them down to 0-3. They came up short against the Riverwood Raiders, falling 15-4. The Spartans were not able to make up for their loss to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.
North Springs saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kate Lott, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run. Another was Sarah Browne, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Coming up, North Springs will venture away from home to challenge Dunwoody at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverwood will be paying especially close attention to the Spartans' matchup: after the Spartans face off against Mount Vernon, they'll take on Riverwood again at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday.
