Sandia faced Santa Fe in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Matadors came out on top against the Demons by a score of 4-2. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Sandia were the better team in the second half.

They hit Santa Fe with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Isaiah Ornelas (2), Gerson Gusdorf, and Emmanuel Dodge.
