Baseball Recap: Duluth Takes a Loss

Duluth fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against North Gwinnett on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They lost 13-5 to the Bulldogs. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Daniel Aleman made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Duluth's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for North Gwinnett, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Duluth by a score of 9-0 on Friday.
