Football Game Preview: St. Michael-Albertville Knights vs. Minnetonka Skippers

The St. Michael-Albertville Knights will face off against the Minnetonka Skippers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Michael-Albertville will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

St. Michael-Albertville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Rosemount a 14-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, Minnetonka's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 14-7 win over Prior Lake. The Skippers haven't had any issues with the Lakers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The win got St. Michael-Albertville back to even at 5-5. As for Minnetonka, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

St. Michael-Albertville was dealt a bruising 40-7 loss at the hands of Minnetonka in their previous meeting back in September. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Knights were down 26-0.
