Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marion County). Everything went their way against the Wellsville-Middletown Tigers on Monday as they made off with a 21-2 victory. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The victory got Marion County back to even at 4-4. As for Wellsville-Middletown, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Marion County will look to defend their home field on the 23rd against North Shelby at 5:00 p.m. As for Wellsville-Middletown, they will square off against Hermann at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
