Baseball Recap: Terrell County Comes Up Short

Terrell County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 18-0 to the Seminole County Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 25-1 on Saturday.

Terrell County's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Seminole County, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Terrell County will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mitchell County at 3:00 p.m. on the 10th. The Greenwave are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Seminole County, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-7 win against Port St. Joe on the 8th.
