Football Preview: Cedar Mountain Cougars vs. Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots
The Cedar Mountain Cougars will venture away from home to challenge the Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Cedar Mountain is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 57-7 win over Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Jackson Guetter had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 249 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 14.6 yards per carry, and also picking up 56 receiving yards. He is becoming a predictor of Cedar Mountain's success: when he posts at least 100 rushing yards the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when he doesn't). Carson Schiller was another key player, throwing for 134 yards and two TDs.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Cedar Mountain was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 416 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 169 rushing yards in three consecutive matchups.
