Baseball Recap: Caldwell Gets the Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Caldwell had no problem doing just that on Monday. They came out on top against the Shenandoah Zeps by a score of 4-1. The Redskins haven't had any issues with the Zeps recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

The victory got Caldwell back to even at 10-10. As for Shenandoah, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-19.

Coming up, Caldwell will take on Toronto at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Red Knights' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Redskins' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Shenandoah does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
