Granite Hills and Point Loma are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2020, but likely not for long. The Eagles will challenge the Pointers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are out to turn their luck around after having lost tight contests in their previous games.

Granite Hills heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Wednesday. They fell just short of San Marcos by a score of 6-4. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Anthony Miotti was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Point Loma might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-1 to Eastlake, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Pointers have suffered against the Titans since April 3, 2023.

Point Loma saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Reddeg, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Granite Hills' loss dropped their record down to 21-6. As for Point Loma, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-10-1.

Granite Hills came up short against Point Loma in their previous matchup back in March, falling 7-2. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
