Volleyball Recap: Kennedy Davis and Belle Taukiuvea Secure Win for Centura

Centura had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ravenna Bluejays. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Monday.

Centura never let Ravenna on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 26-24.

Centura was led to victory by Belle Taukiuvea and Kennedy Davis. Taukiuvea had three blocks and two aces, while Davis had 13 kills and two blocks. Davis has been hot for a while, having posted six or more kills the last 11 times she's played.

Despite the defeat, Ravenna had strong showings from Ava Wroblewski, who had 19 digs and one assist, and Naomi Hervert, who had 16 digs and 11 assists.

Centura's win bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Ravenna, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-18.

As of now, neither Centura nor the Bluejays have any future games scheduled.
