After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Granite Hills, Laton was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 39-10 victory over the Maricopa Indians. The Mustangs not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since January 22nd (when they won 41-6).
Laton can attribute much of their success to Gabriella Alvarado, who posted 18 points.
Laton's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Maricopa, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
