Baseball Recap: Forest Park Takes a Loss

Forest Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jackson Jaguars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 16-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Forest Park saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacoby Hendricks, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Forest Park's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Jackson, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-9.

Coming up, Jackson will challenge Pace Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Forest Park will be paying especially close attention to the Jaguars' contest: after the Jaguars face off against the Knights, they'll take on Forest Park again at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
