Soccer Game Preview: Centennial vs. Compton

The Centennial Apaches will square off against the Compton Tarbabes at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Centennial's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Centennial fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Compton Early College on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They lost 3-0 to the Rising Phoenix.

Meanwhile, Compton scored the most goals they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against Firebaugh, falling 5-2.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for Compton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-1.
