Jasper hadn't done well against Castle recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Wildcats won by a goal and slipped past the Knights 2-1. Jasper's winning goal came courtesy of Diego Ramos.

Jasper's win bumped their record up to 8-3-2. As for Castle, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-3-1.

Jasper wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 9-0 victory against Evansville Bosse on the 29th. As for Castle, they will venture away from home to challenge Evansville Mater Dei at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
