Charter Oak has gone 9-1 against Northview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Chargers will head out on the road to challenge the Vikings at 3:15 p.m. Charter Oak is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.

Charter Oak is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Wilson just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, Charter Oak couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Valeria Gonzalez, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Northview kept a clean sheet against West Covina on Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bulldogs. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Northview were the better team in the second half.

Northview is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matches. As for Charter Oak, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.

Charter Oak was able to grind out a solid win over Northview in their previous matchup two weeks ago, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chargers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
